We need your help. To continue the important research that goes on in Alberta and across the country, and to help make lives better for all people with lupus, constant funding is required.
Research to Find a Cure
The Lupus Society of Alberta provides research grants to projects based right here in Alberta. These grants allow for the continuation and expansion of efforts to find a cure for this complex disease.
Previous Alberta projects have paid off. Still continuing are important projects such as Lupus HealthNet based at the University of Calgary.
Support Efforts
Living with lupus is not an easy thing to do. It is emotionally and physically demanding, which can be a great burden when so little is known about lupus. As a service to its members, the Lupus Society of Alberta provides a variety of services to help lupus patients cope with the disease and the medications they must take.
Together with social workers, medical professionals, and lupus sufferers, the Lupus Society of Alberta hopes to make life easier for those with lupus.
